RYDEL LIMJOCO

Hey there! I am the creative director of 97 Group! With 4 years of experience in freelance photography and videography, I have created films for multiple industries from festivals, nightclubs, brands and commercial businesses.

My journey started on an sh*tty Iphone 5s. At the time I didn't even know what looked good or not, I just knew that time past by when I was editing and that it didn't feel like work.

After saving up enough money to buy an entry level DSLR I decided to shoot my friends surfing and landscapes around Newcastle. It then progressed on to nightclubs and clothing brands. From there, passion grew bigger and the countless sleepless nights learning via youtube took place. Not long after, I got my first paid work as a freelancer and then I realised, f**k i can make this work. And it did.

Fast forward to now, I have been fortunate to work with international resorts and create content for their brand whilst honing my skills and knowledge in marketing. I'm excited to have you and your business become a part of 97 Group!

Hey Legends! I'm Dylan I wish I could tell you an awesome story of how when I first touched a camera my heart was set on fire with a burning passion to create and - you know the rest. I first got a hand me down DSLR from my old man as a birthday present one year and honestly it collected a lot of dust for the first few years. It wasn't until I went away for my first big overseas trip when I decided to bring the old rig along and see how she went. The feeling those images gave me when I came home was pretty surreal. There's nothing like it.

Today, I’m driven to create impactful and effective imagery for my clients. Through my years I’ve seen my clients grow in the digital world and navigate their industry in a rapidly changing market.

ELIJAH MEREDITH

Hey, I’m Elijah! Ever since I was young I always knew that this is what I wanted to do when I grew up. I remember making short films with my cousins using an old camera that my grandparents owned. This became my own form of self expression. I was heavily influenced by my late grandfather, he was always so invested in his old western films. I really believe that without him I wouldn’t be where I am now. Ever since then I’ve been creating things I love everyday. From filming vlogs with my friends back in school to late night editing sessions, it’s always been this. And I’m so glad that I’m now apart a group of experienced creatives, living my dream each and every day. The feeling of working hard for years to finally seeing my results pay off is super rewarding. And it definitely takes a lot of patience. But one piece of advice from me is to keep putting your work out there for the world to see, and in the end it will all be worth it. But that’s been me, cheers!

I'm Kyle I live and breathe music and I've been heavily involved with music on all levels from a young age and bring my experience as a musician in my youth and a photographer covering bands and festivals as an adult to tailor my work to anyone in the creative arts. My goal as a photographer is to deliver my clients quality media they'd see on the cover of their favourite magazine and provide content which captures their individual expressiveness.

I got my first camera when I was 14 for Christmas I had a strong love to take photos and capturing memories. I decided to purchase a film camera and start to take photos of my friends on nights out which lead to my good friend Rydel asking me if I would like to work in this field and follow my love and passion for photography. When I heard that, I jumped on the opportunity and started working. Fast forward a year, I now work doing photography for a living and have been fortunate to have shot multiple events here in Newcastle. I have been working with local restaurants and clothing brands to help them capture their products and stand out from competitors in this forever-growing and changing market.
